Vocal Solo Competition

Vocalists: An Opera Aria, Broadway Show Tune, or Classical Solo Vocal Work with Orchestra.
 
Accompanists must be provided by entrants for the audition, and copies of the sheet music or score should be provided to the jury.

​Pieces selected for the competition should be reasonably performable to a satisfactory artistic level by a small orchestra.  Pieces requiring large orchestrations will not be accepted unless the entrant is able to secure the necessary additional musicians; however, it may be possible for the entrant to collaborate with the music director and produce a condensed orchestration of the piece in question.
